Thank you for your interest in our 4 year old program. Our experienced educators are committed to providing quality play based learning opportunities for your child.
To apply for either program applications are made the year prior to your child’s intended start date from 1st May to 30th June to be considered for a first round offer, however you can apply outside of these dates and if there are any available positions they will be offered or alternately you will be notified that your child is on a waitlist.

The Kindergarten has as open door policy so you are welcome to visit anytime to see a session in action and talk to our experienced educators, otherwise each year we have an open day which welcomes all parents and children to come along and check out the kindergarten please see our events page for additional information.
Children turning four before the 30th of April in the year they start kindergarten can enrol.
Applications for four year old kindergarten are managed by Kingston City Council. A small application fee is payable to Kingston City Council on submitting an application. No fee is payable for Health Care/Pension Card Holders.

Children allocated a place will receive a letter of offer from Chelsea Heights Kindergarten in August/September the year prior to starting kinder. Parents who wish to accept the placement must deposit a non refundable $100 to secure your child's place.
Children that have secured a place at the kinder will then be invited to a Meet & Greet day where they have another chance to see the kinder and meet follow class mates. This is usually held in Term 4.
Parents will also be invited to an adults only information night to explain more of the program and a chance for parents to have any questions answered, held in Term 4.
Though out this process you will be asked to return some paperwork including your child’s birth certificate, immunisation records, permission form and a confidential enrolment forms.
Children will be allocated to groups at the discretion of Chelsea Heights Kindergarten. Factors taken into account in allocating children include:
Every endeavor will be made to accommodate parents' work commitments or care arrangements. However, allocation to a particular group cannot be guaranteed.
From time to time vacancies arise through children moving away or deferring kindergarten. A waiting list is maintained to fill vacancies. For the most up to date information on vacancies and the waiting list please email email@example.com
We ask that fees are paid a term in advance as this ensures that funding is allocated where it needs to be, our fees do include excursions and incursions, we do however have some fundraising to help maintain and furnish our beautiful kindergarten.
Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the committee of management, prices reflected are an indication only for your child/children per term rate will be advised when a letter of offer is sent.
